Extremely Disappointed with hikes!
Hello Sharks, I recently gave interview of Tiger Analytics and after all successful technical discussion, they were offering me Senior analytics - data Science role for 15.5 fixed + 2L jb, considering my current yoe 4.3 and in data science relevant is not much(consider it 1.5+) but my cctc is 14(13fixed+1 variable), I denied to accept this offer. Should I reconsider that?

Have you not googled this beaten down dilemma that's constantly asked? Four choices:
You speak up to your higherups and take initiative to get the growth you need.
- Go back to PA
- Find another industry job
- Go back to school
Back to public but ull probably take a paycut… write off your industry stint and start back where you left lol
Back to public?
To another corporate job for a company that is growing and has more complex operations.
Try advisory or consulting, it’s client service but allows you to move up, network with private equity decision makers, make the same money and not be burned out. It’s what I did.
Same here!
Personally I’m taking ~2ish years as a senior in industry out of PA in a newish area to me (related to prior experience, but taking this opportunity to specialize). I super needed a chill pill to remember (and live) my personal values, while still demonstrating new skills that I’ve mapped out for my current position. Next up I want to move into a more challenging position as a manager in industry, again showing growth without burning myself out in PA. Imo I’ve learned all the hard skills I can take away from PA, ultimately I have a dream job in mind and a path laid out to get there. Maybe try figuring out what your long term goals are and work backwards?
