Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? I would like to return to 100% remote work and, understandably, most job postings that are about my caliber are requiring the cert. I am thinking of possibly pivoting into an IT job that would be fully remote later on down the road, but I’m interested in seeing what is possible now (and an average pay) for someone with my experience.

About to hit my 6 year anniversary (fully vested 401k) and I'm frustrated by the lack of upward mobility and the terrible splits in revenue vs compensation but I'm worried about giving up job security. Honestly, complacency has gotten the best of me and I'm looking for some advice.

I'm up for promotion to M1 this summer. But I honestly cant stand the thought of one more busy season, and am fairly confident I can land a job in private industry in the next month. Am I crazy to leave as a S3, 6 months short of a promotion to M1, for a job as a senior accountant in private industry?
