Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Hey Sharks, I joined in verizon india last april, i got moved to new project at july end. I have 2.5 years of experience in java,springboot, Micrservices architecture. But in my new team deployed in a support project. Feeling depressed and frustrated. asked manager 2 times to change my responsibility. But he's accepting in call but not doing what he is promised. Please suggest what can i do here. Does droppeing paper is a good solution? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.Verizon

Same here. I got two offers, but they are asking me to join immediately, and I want to take my hard-earned money. I will resign in March.
Nowadays, I don’t care what anyone says. I know my worth, and I can get jobs. So why should I become a slave under these brain-drained principal engineers and useless ADs?
I’m pretty sure that after Verizon, my AD and PE will be jobless—even an intern knows more than them. I even gave a tip to Dan to hire a Scrum Master instead of an AD; they would be better.

See, the problem is, you're waiting for appraisal/STI/stocks, then start applying at the end of this fiscal year and you'll be competing with thousand other people with your skills who think exactly like you. I didn't wait and got an offer worth twice my CCTC, so I'd have earned more by the end of March in the new company compared to what I'd have earned if I stayed. The job market is rough and headstart is the only way you'd get a better opportunity.

How come failure director and Associate Director can see you coming near them after promotion.Later they need to compete with you that is why.If i can not rise my level,so i will stop other progession which will fulfill my ego.if u spent 6 year underpay but not under knowledge.
