Just completed phone screening for PwC Senior Manager role. Thought it went great. Interviewer gave me time frame of next steps with interview and possible hire both being almost a month away (October) due to them hiring at each quarter. Could this be a nice way of saying that I’m not moving forward or I’m just overthinking it?

Has anyone here use a resume writer before to help them rewrite their resume? I feel like trying to write about myself and be objective isn't the easiest thing. Get me in front of a hiring manager for an interview and have no problem talking about myself and my history. Getting it on paper and past the ATS is a different story.

If so, anyone you would recommend? Anything to look out for or suggest?

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?

I’m wondering is it good to jump to industry for my next move or move up in the consulting world to polish my resume better with MBB or Big 4 in my resume… any thoughts? I really don’t know what to do in life so either one works for me, but I’m just lost.

All else equal, is it easier to become direct admit PP rather than promoted to that role from SM or MD? Seems less obstacles. Thoughts?
