Noob investor here. I messed up and need some advice. Invested in Alibaba (BABA) around $245 average cost because I believed in the business but now I’m significantly down…what should I do? I have half investment in my individual brokerage and half in my Roth IRA (I know, pretty stupid of me). Am I screwed long term?

Currently 25 years old.
Goals:
* Own a home in a HCOL
* 2 kids (eventually)
* Retire at 50 on $125k/year.

Envelope math:
* $125k/year would require an investment portfolio of ~$3M.
* Targeting a $2M home (split with partner)
* 2 kids - $1M to raise both (including college fund, split with partner)
* $500K buffer for unexpected expenses
* 33% tax

Therefore, 6.5-7M retirement savings needed. To hit this (assuming 6% return after inflation), I’d need to save ~$110k/year.

VOO. I predominantly use Schwab’s robo advisor and have consistently been 8% below S&P 500. (1) based on the historical performance of VOO, am I better off shifting all of my retirement and brokerage accounts to VOO? (2) how do I do that? How should I go about this? Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work.
