Pretty low for SF but a great offer nonetheless. Follow the money. I think your question should be if you want to be a part of that team.

I agree with A, based on that, go for it! Congrats on the offer! Good luck in the future
It's not a bad offer, but I agree with others that I think you can get $135k. Or if you call out that you'll need to relocate, you may be able to negotiate a higher sign on bonus. Out of curiosity, did the recruiter ask you at any point what your target salary was?
The average salary for L9 in SF is definitely not $110k. Not for experienced hires, at least. The numbers you saw could have been for homegrown (hired from entry level) consultants and must be very very old. Applied Intelligence pays less than Strategy, but your role is still somewhere near the $130-145k range for L9 in SF these days.
It doesn't hurt to go back and ask for more. The worst they can do is say no. Or you can say that the $130k you asked for was your absolute minimum and see if you can at least get the offer up to there?
Definitely try to get 135+, most likely they’ll give it to you
L9 just means Consultant. Within L9, you can be a C1, C2 or C3. You’re probably coming in as an L9 C1
Yep and they really don’t care where you are… I’d negotiate a different location.
I’d negotiate a higher amount. $135? You never know they may give you a few thousand $$ more. Nonetheless, take it
With 3 YOE and it being Accenture and not AFS the range is 125-131k, not including bonus. Source is I myself got hired with two other folks all within that salary range
AFS or LLP
AFS is Accenture Federal Services
I think this is a low offer for SF, but sounds like a good bump for you based on your current comp and maybe a good opportunity to make the move you want in your career path.
I’m actually making an opposite jump! I’m in TX making a jump to a remote strat role for a company in SF. Going from 105k to 125k. I was wondering where folks who make 125k in SF live. I may have had a skewed view of pay there, but I legitimately thought that was bare minimum to live there. What area do you live in?
Super interesting! Thanks for the insight, y’all.
Wishing you the best of luck on your new role, OP. Welcome to ACN.
That’s like making 65-70k in Dallas. Which is low to afford a decent place in Dallas unless you’re in one of the suburbs outside of Dallas. (Don’t quote me on the numbers but should be close)
Came in as C2 with 4 YOE Tier 2 city. Base 150k….
L9 = consultant
C2 implies second year at that level
Are you MBA? We’re giving 175k to MBA Consultants
No not an MBA. I have a masters in STEM. The role is in the AI team.
