Currently on H1B. Trying to decide if I should pursue full-time MBA, or get part-time MBA while working. Just got MBB offer with 30% salary increase. Both MBA programs are top 10.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

Do people 4-5 years out of b-school still put GMAT scores on resume? I have other markers of academic qualifications (schools, GPAs) on there, but wondering if should add standardized test score.

Is a 710 gmat (q44 v42) worth retaking? I’m a Latin American male working at McKinsey, 4.0 gpa from the top university in my country on a full scholarship. Maybe with a lot of effort I could get my score up to a 730, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the time

The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Studied accounting and finance but worried about the future of this profession. Currently working in Forensic Consulting but want to leave. Should I go back to undergrad and get a computer science degree? I honestly want a career where I could at least potentially make 600 k per year. I feel in accounting it’s near impossible. My company is giving me a reimbursement while I go to school. It’s capped to induce me to study part time. I decided to go full time. Pay the difference out of pocket so I can graduate quicker. I have been working as a manufacturing engineer tech for 4 years without a degree but this May I will get my bachelors in Mechanical Eng. Currently making 63k a year, hourly. What should I ask for when I graduate? Living in Southern Pennsylvania.

It is in appropriate to ask what the compensation for a position is after a first interview if they want you to go on three more and the interviewers on my first told me that was above their pay grade to tell me?????

Seems kind of ridiculous for a business to want to waste so much time to find out after a handful of interviews that the pay isnt aligned with my needs ......

I’m a first year that’s inching toward second year. Partners in my group say “sometimes getting thrown into the deep end is the best way to learn.” However, I feel so lost. I feel like saying the above is just an excuse for not wanting to take the time to actually teach new associates.

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?
