Just had an interview at a large holding company with their internal recruiter. When did the interview process get so superficial and like talking to someone in HR? This recruiter lacked any personality and spent the time talking about the agency like it was PR convo with adweek. When did being a creative become such a robotic transaction with the interview process. Can’t we just be real and honest and not try to pretend that everything is great - but try to be open and talk about it?

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

I expressed a need for a promotion or raise to compensate for the major increase in responsibility, a responsibility that is not currently in my description.
