Coming back empty handed was really hard. I had over 350 pages of hand written notes... tried everything. Tonight I can’t sleep for another reason. Feel on top of the world! For anyone else trying for this one..u can do it!

You know, this thread is just what I needed this morning: pride in personal accomplishment and celebration of another’s success. Working in proximity to crime - like cops, fraud investigators, and many cyber folks do - it’s easy to become cynical. It’s nice to see some shared joy. And congrats OP!

like

Congratulations OP. It doesn't matter how many times you had to take it, the point is that you kept on pushing for your goal and obtained it! This is to be celebrated! Remember to take a moment and do so!

Congratulations! Good Job! Now go out and rock the CS world!

Congrats OP! It's a struggle but you did it! When are you taking us out for beers?

Congrats OP! I’m very excited for you. I’m sure you were down on yourself and doubting your abilities but you did fantastic. Celebrate this accomplishment!

My score from first attempt 580 (no preparation) after boot camp 658. And then I found the hole in my budget. Total expenses about 5000. LA

Congratulations! That's a lot of time invested, however it's well worth it.

Congrats!

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Hi all! To qualify for an L1A visa, do you have to be a senior manager / executive level or does it work as long as you’re a manager? I just moved out of the US because the H1b lottery didn’t work out for me, and I’m thinking rather than spending 1 or 2 years in my home country and go back as a senior, I’d much rather work here a bit longer, get that manager title, wait a year, and then go back as I think that would be the fastest route to green card..? Any thoughts/advice? I’m from 🇰🇷 :) TYI!!
