Before that, earlier this week had multiple holes in our roof causing water to pour in, have a bat in the attic / basement, and had a cleaning crew accidentally ruin our very expensive stove (used oven cleaner on stainless). Have international travel coming up for work this weekend and that’s tough with 2 kids under 3. How do people deal with this many life curveballs?

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…

I have to support my family financially. Usually my mom cooks for the family so groceries only cost $1200/month.
