Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Hi Fishes,
Many peoples saying product based company will pay more than service based company.
But I think nowadays service based companies are paying more than services based.
Actually Tiaa global business services is product based company but not even ready to match the offer. Before interview they are ready to give package but once interview get cleared they will not ready to pay package based on your expectation.

As a PML - I’d argue we have less of a say on VC, but a lot of say for promotion. If everyone is against you, your PML will likely be unable to make the case. However if your PML is against it, you’ll likely not get promoted.
It’s also worth noting that who your PML is and the clout they have has a big impact. For example, there is this PML that always thinks all of his counselees are superstars. Everyone knows that can’t be true and that he always puts them up for promotion, so no one takes him seriously. He is great at his job, but not as a PML.
They’ll be the difference for promotions and high VC. Almost the sole factor
Very, very, important. They literally make a case for you at the “boards”, if they have clout or pitch a good case it can make or break you. Part of the reason it’s so important to arm them with as much good, quantifiable, information as possible.
No need for other answers. K3 is fully on point. PML has only a directional voice into VC and zero to do with merit increases. If you want to get promoted though, you better be having that convo with your PML by October so you can be planning the next year to knock it out.

What if my pml is indifferent 😐
SPMLs don't have to be partners and they don't have to be your PML's PML. It's not a very logical system. I can't even tell you how to look up your SPML anymore, used to be in performance management but I don't see it in there or ssc. I would just recommend calling HR to ask.
Your PML has a marginal role in your promotion and VC decisions, unless your PML is an SPML or a PPMD with serious clout in the network with the Practice Lead and the SPML. After that, your PML’s input into the process declines based on their level. A PML can only represent you during mid-year and end-year and make a recommendation for promotion. Final decisions are made by the SPML and the Practice Lead.
If you are seen by Directors and PPMDs as a strong / high performer and your PML is supportive of your promotion then a strong PML (Director or Manager) can push you over in the promotion process. We still have 0 input into the VC process because we don’t know what you make, where you are compared to peers, etc.
If you are seen as a strong / high performer but with a weak or indifferent PML you are working with a serious handicap.
If you are NOT a strong/high performer then no PML can save you.
