I moved to industry a year ago but am realizing I’d really like to be 20-25 hours per week and WFH as frequently as possible. 10 years experience in primarily federal income tax/asc 740

One key selling point, as they are trying to offer is the opportunity to work one day a week to use for things like training, acquiring certifications or building applications that you are interested in.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? Can my spouse change her job while green card application is pending. I'm the primary applicant and both my I140 and I485 are pending.

She is currently working on an L2S which is also up for renewal. On similar terms, would her job change have any impact to her L2S renewal application, assuming it's applied and pending with USCIS by that time.

Are initial law firm consultations usually free? I’m on H1B and wanted to schedule an initial consultation with an immigration lawyer to discuss some GC options (outside of employment based) and was told I’d have to pay $200 for a consultation (45 mins session).
