If for the experience, I say yes; if for the money, then I say no.
Money will be there in near term. It is more of diversified experience you should aim for. With that said, I don't think IB TC's are solid. They sway a lot with the macro market.
If you aspire to get that IB stint down the road, I say aim high and go for BB or MM at the least rather than a boutique.

Think it depends on what you want long term. Personally I would want the IB experience. But just curious, are you going into the IB firm as an analyst or associate? How many yoe total?
Just continue to do a good job and make it known that you want to make the move to your coach / counselor. The transition is easier to make when markets aren’t as volatile.
