Left my prior firm several months ago on okay terms. Recently, the office administrator reached out on LinkedIn asking for my address in order to file a withdrawal of appearance on one of my cases. Seems kind of odd as I’m pretty sure this information isn’t required to submit a withdrawal of appearance after an attorney left a firm. Not sure if this is suspect or I’m being overly suspicious.

How often do you respond to emails from law students who want to learn about your firm/practice area? I get like a dozen requests right around OCI every year. Frankly I’m tired of speaking to them and answering the same boring questions, especially if I know they have a low GPA and no chance of summering at my firm, but I do feel bad saying no/ignoring them

And yeah forgets everything! Need to remind him each and everytime about the tasks and boom, then he comes up with his negative demotivating statements!

I just left a very toxic work place.
The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it.
