Are firms willing to negotiate the role with campus hires? I received an offer for a big 4 in risk, which I signed early in September, but just now received another offer in TAS from a different firm. While I much prefer the big 4 firm, I do not want to work in risk anymore. Would a big 4 be willing to change groups? Have you heard of anyone able to do this? I feel kind of bad, but I truly despise the idea of working in risk now. ( My friend who's in the role right now hates it)

I was laid off in June. Most consulting companies are on a hiring freeze that I’ve talked to. It’s pretty hard on my psyche to not get down on myself. Thoughts on calendar being double booked? What are the etiquettes to be followed. Often people double book and it feels like “ my meeting is more important that whatever you have booked time for in yours”. If both meetings are same urgency/importance - what’s the best approach ?
