Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. If you’re interested in PwC, hit me up. While I’m not in talent, I have made some solid connections with a lot of the recruiters in the Veterans and experienced hire segments.
PwC is a solid choice, definitely veteran friendly!
Are you applying through referrals? Consultings kinda tough at the moment for recruiting. I’m guessing odds go up if it’s not right through an open web app. Also applying for a position right below manager might get you in the door then get promoted in a year. Comps still very good.
This is also true. Tough time in Big4 finding open roles, but with a T20 MBA, comps are good for a high level SA with an understanding of getting promoted within a year.
If you really consider yourself skilled on strategy, then why not take an entry level job in insurance sales or as a loan officer.
If you are what you imply, it will be known by the company within two weeks. I never worked for any outfit like that and I was not promoted to office trainer within a month.
I always just used those jobs as stepping stones. My sister stayed with Burger King. Started as a part time flipper, left when they were buying her a new car every other year, and she paid for nothing outside of her home.
Turned around and did the same thing at Little Caesar’s after her boy friend dropped dead within a few weeks of moving in together.
Just keep a solid plan in mind and use them the way that they had intended to use you!
Jack Raines is that you?
I realize it’s not exactly what you’re looking for, but I recently came across a PM role in special ops, if you’d be interested in that
I've seen a few BoozAllen jobs posted recently. They look like plugging back into that S3 life, but it could get you to Europe if that's of interest.
