My current experience is in Azure Cloud Engineering (Deployment of end-to-end infrastructure), CI/CD using Azure DevOps , Automation in Azure using Powershell and Azure CLI , Operations and Troubleshooting issues in PaaS services of Azure. My current experience is 1.5 years as a System Engineer.

Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. I am in a similar boat.
I’m taking 3 weeks off between jobs and doing a vacation for part of it.
My role will be in a new industry for me so I’ve been chatting with a lot of mentors about the nuances of the industry and the power dynamics at the company so that I know how to best position myself when I’m there.
I will also be doing some coffee chats with my new team members before I start to ease the transition. My hiring manager/new boss is leveling himself with bringing me on, so these people were used to reporting to him before. I’m trying to build the relationship with them early to mitigate any potential tension.
Awesome, and congratulations! Are you doing a ton of 1:1s with people in the broader organization? Or just your direct team?
