Looking for advice from those who transitioned from audit to financial analyst/fp&a. All interviewers ask about financial modeling projects which I don’t have, what other skills could combat this lack of experience?

Auditing financial modelings?

Have you worked on projects that had investments, acquisitions, debt? what model did they use that you had to understand before you could perform testing?

There are courses you can take on financial modeling. That sounds like the best bet

None. Learn it on your own time if you have to.

For your resume, how many bullet points under your XP with your firm straight out of college is too many? I’m a senior and don’t have anything else since college that’s relevant. Also, how do you feel about a small section above the bullets detailing the position (where the bullets are more about your achievements in the position)

And then 4 days later hiring manager sets up a phone conversation letting me know they still have other finalist they are interviewing and will let me know when t they make a decision.
