Looking to become a mentor for underserved high school students interested in getting into the marketing space. Anyone know any programs like this?

How does one decide to take risks and apply for news job when the state of the economy and the world is ever changing. We know salaries are going up, but employers struggle doling out the cash. Is it better to stick where you are or jump into something new?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I have 6.5 yrs of IT experience in Testing field. I have worked completely in Agile Delivery Model and have pretty decent understanding of Agile. Recently I completed my MBA in Technology Management as well. I am currently working in Accenture. I am looking for change in my career from QA to Scrum Master or PO kind of role. Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. I’m starting a financial analyst position at a major hospital system in my area soon and want to stick with that for a couple years before making a transition but was curious if I just don’t have the right experience for a role in advisory.

I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after. But, I just turned 23 and I’m anxious about my love life and starting a family. I haven’t had a boyfriend since 2019 and I’ve poured my heart and soul into my education & career.

Whenever I got promoted to digital ACD a few years ago, I noticed my pay was much lower than I expected for the market I’m in, hard to find skillsets, performance, and visibility I’ve brought to the agency. I’ve brought this up a few times and was told HR would do research into salary equity, but the convo always fades. I put my foot down with my GCD, and she supports me, but I would like to come to the table with my own research. Where should I be looking for accuracy?

LMAO what do Afro Latinos look like? I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look". So no black people in the ad cause this white passing lady needs to gate keep who looks latina enough. The blond, blue eyed women in the photos passed though... UGHH.
