We have a robust practice in that space, unsure of entry at that level though. Definitely Associate level.

I have a friend that got a managing role at OW in their provider/payer practice despite doing mostly pharma at ZS

Out of curiosity, why are you looking to move from LS/pharma to payer/provider? I’m looking to go in the opposite direction.

And the WLB is better too! Perfect optimization

UHG and Optum Life Sciences... lots of jobs that are starting to post right now and flexibility especially if you want to get out of pharma and drug space.

We are hiring at that level. In our firm healthcare and life sciences is a combined practice spanning payer, provider, and life sciences. We are in high growth mode, right now HLS is over $100M but looking to aggressively expand across all segments.

I work for a payer and we'd consider candidates without payer experience (although that's preferred). Feel free to DM if interested

I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

I have minor generalized anxiety. Lately, I’ve had worse anxiety than normal, and as a result, I’m taking my second mental health day in a row. I didn’t tell my firm that it was a mental health day, I just told them I was sick with non-COVID symptoms. None of the partners I work for objected or said anything negative, but I’m now getting worried that they’re somehow going to find out it was just a mental health day instead of physical illness, and that it will somehow bite me in the ass . . .

As someone with a background in the military, is it worth it to try to go back to the government as a tax analyst or senior tax analyst for the Dept of the Treasury? I'm wondering if I'll have an edge in getting hired as I've been at the GS-13 level before I left the military and I'm hoping I can use that time in service to add to a pension time requirement in the government.

Partners/Associates. How does someone balance the fine line between sending follow up networking emails to people who did not respond to the first networking email (sent pre-pandemic)? Having targeted alumni of my schools, I know people are flooded with emails daily (especially partners) and it may have been poor timing as people are busy. I don’t want to become an annoyance, but I do want to try to connect with fellow alums (with hopes of a job at some point (more than 1 year from now)).
