Having been a modeling DS, I can't imagine why I'd outsource exploratory analysis. Anyone seen a team like this before?

Hello! I’m looking at taking my CIPP (CIPP/C for me, cause I’m in Canada). Anyone obtained it? How long did it take you? What materials did you rely on?
They recommend a book and self study for 30h, do you find it enough? Their training program is only 9h, looks expensive to me and they say it doesn’t guarantee to pass the exam, so it’s not worth it - or is it? Any advice on passing the exam is appreciated.

Anyone else ever feel guilty for calling out for being sick? I’ve struggled deeply in this profession to separate my private from professional life, but they constantly bleed together. When feeling ill I feel like a huge let down and as if I’m not a better licensed healthcare professional. Anyone else struggle with this? How do you get yourself out of that mindset?

Anyone else here actually find auditing enjoyable? Yes, the hours are insane. WLB hasn't been good for me. But I feel like I'm always learning new things on the job even after 6 years. I would think going into industry would pigeonhole me and be kind of boring. I think that's why I'm still in public accounting besides dreams of making partner.

Looking for advice. I'm a tax manager that worked at both Big 4 and mid-tier in expat/mobility tax. I want to move away from tax compliance and more into technology. I currently use Excel and VBA for automating processes, and are taking beginner coding classes (Python, intro to programming). What career path do I have? I thought about quitting to do a bootcamp and work as a software developer, but is it too risky? Perhaps I can blend my tax experience and "coding" skills and do tax technology?

How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to).
