Looking to calibrate my salary. I was promoted recently to Associate Account Director at a medium sized marketing agency (affiliate + influencer marketing specifically), $100k annually with a very small amount of shares. No other incentive or additional comp structure.
7 years specific industry experience, 13 years total professional experience. Fully remote (located in NC)

My ctc excluding employer pf is 12.58lpa. i invstd 96k in elss and 40k in lic. Along with this 48k epf and 2.4k as PFtax. HS rnt is 1.2LPA. I covered whole 80c but still 13k was deducted as tax this month. I am unmarried and don't want to take any medical insurance premiums. Any ideas how this 13k was came as Income tax?
