Looking to exit as a 3rd year in big4 strategy, risk, and compliance to a more technical security role (nothing too crazy, just a more generalized role) in industry, but struggling to get interviews. I’ve obtained cissp associate and have some programming exp but I think my lack of hands on experience in areas like IR or VM is hurting. About three months ago, I was applying to find a new job. A month later, I got an offer, came work for this firm. I am not feeling like this would be a great environment for me. So I accepted a job interview this week but when I sent them the resume was 3 months ago so i didnt have my current job on there. Should I tell them my job has changed since? I am worried that if i dont tell them, they will find out when doing background check.

what is the standard process of asking to switch office locations? has anyone done it successfully? did you go through HR or apply for the position directly? any advice welcome.

Hi folks, my base location as per EY GDS offer letter is Noida but I want it to be Gurgaon as my hometown is in Jaipur and Gurgaon is more convenient for me.. I sent email to my senior manager and got response that you can use flexibility and work in any Gds office in India.
