Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

I'd stay a little longer to demonstrate your performance and capability because you can negotiate more and an international move has the risk of a lower pay or higher cost of living either of which a bigger pay bump resolves anyways
Probably will end up making more in NYC metro area than anywhere else - sad bc been here my entire life lol
also if you're likely to be promoted within a year in your current role is something to consider
is it a possibility to transfer with your current company before looking elsewhere. might be quite hard to secure a job outside of the country with minimal work experience and living far away.
I’m locked in for the next two years because of the program I’m in. After 1 year I can consider a North America change but not international (like Europe or Oceania)
One year of experience is likely not enough for any firm to want you in another country
