Lost my consulting job recently, and have been struggling to find other consulting jobs. I have been unemployed for two months and have an offer for a job at my Alma matter university for a full time role. It’s a decent gig, but It’s $20k less than what I was making. I’m thinking of taking it, given today’s job market, and continuing to look for better roles. But I feel like I should really stay 9-12 months at least, right, to avoid short stints on my resume…? If you were me, would you take it?
