Hi , i gave assessment and interview on May 13th for senior vetting analyst role -hyderabad, and since then i have not received any communication, my interview went very well and application status in HSBC careers shows updated recently on May 26th with assessment passed and result and feedback available for review ,what does this mean ? I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

Do you think recruiters are less likely to work with you in the future if you turn down an offer?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Tips on writing scripts?

It’s so nice that every agency laying off people, have those left standing (and other agencies) trying to hustle jobs for their unemployed friends, but there are also a ton of people who were unemployed prior to Covid...so no severance, job hunting lot longer, and not earning income for longer time...hurting even MORE due to quarantine.

Advice/suggestions please:
Let’s say you were interviewing for a global client lead role - at the holding co level - for one of WPP, Omnicom or IPG.

What questions would you ask in the interview phase?
What concerns would you have?
If you had your pick of essentially the same role at all three of those holding companies which would you pick? Or not pick?

The world is not going to get easier. So maybe we can help each other get better at dealing with it. Who had a win recently? How did you do it?
