Many of my friends are currently going to a state school MBA program (no GMAT, or TOEFL required for non English speaker). They want to join MBB, Strategy&, Parthenon, or other strategy firms. Is this possible? They have little non-consulting experience. They asked me but i don’t know what to say. What do you suggest me to say? 😀

For each MBB, what's the grad school sponsorship policy for junior who join as experienced hires? Are you still eligible and if so, how long until you can be sponsored (and is thus measured up to enrolment or application time?). Thanks!

Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

I currently work in a Chief Internal Auditor role. I want to get a certification focused on IT audit both for knowledge, gaining credibility with my stakeholders in the IT audit space, and for when I look for a new role. I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?

Does anyone else get into this vicious cycle where you have things you need to get done and have plans later but you don’t get those things done because of procrastination and you super anxious about canceling and pleasing people and end up disappointing yourself

I’ll start hooking up with someone with no intention of dating them because of red flags, but if the sex is good I want to lock it down for the future (even if we are not compatible in our personality, I’ll start to see them in a positive way and flirt more since it makes the sex even better)! Everyone who I want to like me or to hangout with doesn’t respond to my texts or tells me they are too busy. This weekend I reached out to 12 people to see if they wanted to grab coffee or a drink or go for a walk. The number of people who just didn’t respond astounded me. I ended up eating dinner in bed by myself and getting brunch on my own.
