I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

It’s 8 weeks leave plus 4 more if there were complications e.g. twins or nicu stay. I took the full 8 weeks plus 4 weeks of pto all in one one - beta decision ever !
Hi Author, I’m in the same situation. My start date is one month before due date, but the recruiters were aware throughout and actually suggested doing onboarding then paternity. How did it shake out in the end, did you feel penalised when you eventually started working or were you still able to do lots of useful prep and communication whilst away? Congratulations btw.
Up to 19 weeks at EY (16 paternity + 3wks carry over from last year)
Global policy is 16weeks. With the switch to unlimited PTO, they added an additional 3 weeks if you had any leftover PTO before the PTO policy switch.
