So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

OP What’s the role exactly? Every posting is a BPM so what did the description say? Product Manager, tech product manager, business strategy program manager, etc? Feel free to DM me for questions. I’m a Sr BPM at Microsoft and ex Accenture. Happy to help
I am currently looking for sr BPM/TPM position at MS as well. How did you get connected? It seems that just applying online doesn't get so much traction, especially, for big companies like MS.
Referral will help. I had a different situation and lucked out on my end. I just happened to be on the MS account and got a layoff notice and had a chat with my client at the time for new opps. I did really well as a consultant on that project so she was happy to help me out. Ultimately connecting with someone in the company can pull some strings for you, even for something as small as a referral.
