Omg yes - Sometimes I have to restart my computer 3 times a day because Teams is destroying its ability function normally
Oh awkward I do this lol. Teams is texting, emails are long form. Just mute my chat!
I wish people would if their messages are going off every. Single. Second.
It should have a note that says “every time you hit send, I play a noise in your teammates ears.”
They need to treat teams messages like emails, but there’s no polite way of telling someone that their premature enter-button smashing is a grenade to concentration.

Those times when I show my partner a message I’ve typed on my phone, to double check before I hit send (text, Teams, Whattsapp etc) and we pass the phone to each other like it’s a grenade without a pin.

Tell someone to @ you when they need you in an emergency. That’s what I do and it works out fine.

Discord is just Slack for gaming, and at least there’s an option for “slow-mode”, where you can have a little delay between posts tbh

You guys really gotta turn off notifications. Bad for mental health.
Pro Tip: The “A” with the pencil next to the text box turns this feature off. It essentially turns the text box into a low-fi word document where you can format and press enter at your leisure. Realizing this changed my life.
