Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

Dont believe everything you see on this app, the way they calculate TC is often a joke + they embellish.
They’ll include max possible bonus, retirement savings, benefits, …
That doesn't really sound accurate to big 4 salaries. I think most M at D are in the 150-200 range as far as base salary.
I'm also not sure how it's possible to be a M in 4 with only 6 years of experience.
Many successful Partner/MD spend 5 years at the SM level in Accenture and Deloitte.
I've seen many Accenture MD take 4-5 years to make M from Analyst, but take another 3-4 years to make SM, and another 4-6 to make MD

Strategy consulting, yes, it’s expected. But I think you’re asking about exit opportunists making $300k?
Pro
They add health and dental insurance to it etc. 😂
Just reading this is making me feel low lol. 10 years into consulting and I still haven’t touched 300K base. What am I doing wrong as an SM lol
Haha tell them to make you MD?

These are base salaries for S&. An M2 could touch 300k with a 40% bonus. Our regular MC groups are not seeing $300k until at least director I believe

Worked with them on a project. Definitely higher burn rate and higher standards but it’s still not rocket science
The new Ms I know at Strategy& are making around 200k base plus 30-50% bonus so it’s possible. Managers with an MBA will likely be TC around 225-250
Rising Star
No one at KPMG Strategy, EYP, S&, or Deloitte's Strategy teams is pulling 300K as an M with 6 YOE direct from UG. Max is probably $250K
Pro
Year 1 manager is 5 years of experience (in their 6th year of working) — 208k base, 40k promotion bonus, 20% eoy bonus = 300k.
Year to manager is 6 YOE (in 7th year of working) — 222k base, 35% eoy bonus = 300k minimum.
M, unlikely. MD, very plausible
I think these are commercial salaries for M at Big 4 max that I’ve seen is 250-300k with 8-10 years of Experience. GPS M or SM don’t make that much the max salary for M/SM that I’ve seen is 250k with 6+ YOE!
Anyone know SM range at EY non strat? Base and tc.
