What's next after healthcare for you all?
Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

Alas, I don't qualify.

Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

@Graphic Designer, check your state laws. In NY if you FL somewhere for 6-mo at full time hours they have to offer you benefits by law
They always say that. Then they say it again.
Tell them what you just wrote on here. I'm quite serious. Nicely and politely but clearly. Then stop talking and wait for answer. There is nothing wrong with what you've shared here.
Agree with Account Director 1. Tell them exactly what you need. If they can’t offer you full time with benefits, then take the job for the paycheck but start looking and applying for full-time gigs elsewhere. If you have a good relationship with the people you currently work with, be honest about your search too. Most people understand that finding a full time position is important and will want to help you find one, even if it’s not for their company
Give yourself a raise when they whip that new contract out.
So you have the possibility to be booked on a project for an entire year, and you’re choosing to leave it so you can be unemployed? That doesn’t make sense. Take the gg and look for full time while you’re there. The promise of 6 more months of a paycheck guaranteed is more than most of us have.
Take the “gig” I meant.
For a new job. How should I have this conversation with my boss? I don’t want to leave here but I can’t wait another 6 months. When I started they basically told me it would turn full time when my contract is up.
