My investment portfolio hasn't grown since I opened it in 2020. I'm Canadian and have a TFSA which is invested in the market and managed by Wealthsimple (the service I use). I think it's similar to a 401k? Anyway it's shrunk about 2% since I started contributing, no growth aside from my own contributions. I know the market has been up and down but I thought it had mostly recovered from the 2020 dip? Should this account still be seeing losses, or is it being mismanaged?

I handleda very difficult and convoluted succession for a black family. My client was astute and intelligent. We got along great. His family was difficult. Willfully ignorant.

Part of the succession dealt with clawing back $450,000 in insurance proceeds that a niece fraudulent received from the decedent by making herself the beneficiary on policies. A separate attorney was hired to handle that part before I was hired to handle all other matters, including settling a $500,000 debt with the...

Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I always pay my balance in full each month and have never missed a payment, how is 8% credit utilization determined to be that big of a risk that my score got immediately wrecked, I don’t understand
