I’d stick it out! Use the benefits. The market is an out, and I wouldn’t want you worrying about a job and this process. Just my two cents!
That was the original plan but a push to return to the office more days of the week has really taken a mental toll on me. I expressed this to my leads and basically was told tough luck.

Have you consulted with an RE yet or just your OBGYN? If just OB, I’d consider getting an initial consult with an RE and maybe some of the other standard tests done before waiting 6 months. Also, it seems most OBs push waiting the 6 months but you could opt right to IVF/IUI if that’s better for you work wise. IVF is a very tough process but worth weighing all your options.
We actually started with visiting 2 REs. My weight is an issue so I’m also not eligible for IVF yet per those doctors until I lose weight 15-20 lbs. According to them, these are guidelines set by anesthesiologists. Also, IVF is very intense so we wanted to try to give a more natural way first. We tried all of 2023, but it wasn’t until late 2023 that I finally learned how to monitor optimal times to TTC in my cycle timing through monitoring my BBT, CM, LH/ using my Mira device.

Were you thinking about recruiting elsewhere? Perhaps you can see if your target employers would cover it too? Or the new job might pay you a higher salary so you’d be better off anyway?
Yes, this is what I am thinking too. Strategically applying to companies where I can increase my salary or that offer similar benefits.
Infertility sucks. I feel stuck in a job that is unfulfilling, but at the same time so grateful to have the benefits when a lot of companies still don’t offer any. What should I consider or do?
