My manager is clearly playing favorites, and it's really bugging me. There's this one person on the team who can do no wrong while everyone else puts in the same effort with zero recognition. It makes it hard to care about the job. Has anyone successfully handled this type of situation without it backfiring?

If I have to book 20 meetings a month, how many conversations do I need to be having a day ( email, LinkedIn, cold calls, dark social ) with a drop out rate at 20%.

Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.
