The only way I would allow this is under strict 100% supervision, and then at a certain time, boys and girls are split for bed. I'd then position bear traps, tripwires with claymore mines, toe poppers, punji traps, and other nefarious booby traps around the room the girls were in.
Then I'd crack a beer and wait.
(note: I have a girl also in freshman year, and I'm a Marine.)
Oh hell naw..
No way Jose - hormones are raging.
I did it when I was in high school. Times were a little more innocent then (at least where I was). To give you an idea of timing, I’m in my early 40s
I think its cool that your relationship with your kid even allows him to broach the subject. I would have gotten in trouble just for asking.
Rarely do we get such unanimous recommendations / agreement on FB!
Okay - heres my bit. I think its better for kids to party under your supervision than doing it anyways somewhere else and do something stupid.
Also, sounds like your son is well adjusted. Female friends? Git itttt
Sounds like a cliche but my kids is not most kids. No drugs. Little opportunity for sex but I didn't want to slow the opportunity.
No. Your son is trying to pull one over on you.
No... Lol
Thanks for the input. I was not intending to allow it but wondered if others did.
Newp.
This was a common occurrence when I was a teenager in the late 90s.
I wouldn’t allow it.
I’m 36 and did a coed sleepover for my Sweet 16. Maybe we were naive but was very innocent. My patents were around in the house but not in our faces. It was nice having extended casual time w friends and not the typical dress up party
Hell to the naw!
I have 4 girls and no way would I let my girls stay over anyway.
What is it about a sleepover that they can’t do during the daytime I ask??? No chance!!!
