My partner and I are not connecting at all. It’s honestly so hard.

I just don’t want to go anymore. I’ve been awake almost 24hrs but I know if I don’t someone will call, someone will forget administrator don’t go home, they don’t rest they worry ALL the time. 2.5h commute, a small child, and sick dog, and a full time student. I need more money. Daycare is sooo expensive that’s why I can’t quit the waiting list is 2yrs he will be headed to middle school lol. Okay rant over time to make the doughnuts

Does your schedule really get more flexible once you’re promoted from senior associate to manager? Thinking about later on down the line when I have kids, won’t be sticking around if I’ll never get to spend time with my family. Honest opinions welcome.

Just discovering RSD after being diagnosed as an adult. I feel like SO MUCH of my life has been impacted by this and I just never had a name for it. At work if someone gives me negative or constructive feedback it can feel like a punch in the chest even if I know it's not personal. Makes romantic relationships so hard too. Does anyone else dread flying back home to spend a weekend in the town you grew up in? The older I get the harder it is for me to go home and visit for the weekend. How do you deal with the anxiety of going home? I love my family and am fairly close to them. I have another sibling that lives out west. Our parents support us living out of state and don’t blame us for moving out of our tier 3 Midwest city(just an opinion).

I’m currently a third year in my small firm’s life sciences team. I’m not really stimulated by the work and although they say they have a lot of work, they’re not good at managing workload. I haven’t had much work on my plate even after asking many times for more than six months. I’m ready to move to a larger law firm. However, I am concerned how I’ll manage the workload as a mom to a toddler. The good thing about my firm is that they’re flexible with hours. Anyone have experience balancing?

This might be inappropriate but how often are the rest of you having sex with your significant other or spouse? We have little kids and I work 75 hours a week so I am lucky to hook up twice a week and even that is tough to schedule. My wife takes it personally if I am not all over her so I try to make an effort even when I am dead tired. But honestly lately I have been dreaming of a sexless marriage and anything else that will take some of the pressure off me.
