Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

Probably not. However, if she is hired, the auditor will have to preform an independence test to ensure there are no related party issues. If she didn’t work on the audit or have access to the audit files, she’s good.
The client will most likely ask his audit partner or SM about your significant other. It may get back her partner that she applied, which shouldn’t be a huge deal but be ready for that to potentially happen
@OP - Probably before they even interview her, almost certainly after the first interview if they are still considering her. I've reached out to the audit partner a few times where I've applied to clients to give them a heads up so at least the audit partner can say I'm proactive and conscientious if they are asked haha.
