Just got a fidget cube because I’m self-conscious about how much I touch my face on Zoom calls. Has anyone else done this or something similar?

SOS I have a preliminary recruiter screening on zoom for a consulting firm. Do I wear a blazer? Or just a nice work shirt?

Since this is an open forum where we can be honest, I've assembled a list of billable litigation tasks that can be done from a playground: Conference calls, File review, Fly on the wall depositions where your camera is off, Zoom cattle call status hearings. Any other suggestions?

Thoughts on underarm Botox injections? I tried everything under the sun and my profuse sweating makes me lose all my confidence and takes up way too much of my energy. AND IT SHOWS ON ZOOM CALLS FOR GOD-SAKE. (Writing this message after I read a debate on an earlier Botox post. And by tried everything I mean it.)

Does anyone here use legal zoom? My local attorneys are so expensive (I’m scared to send them an email) and wondering if I should use services like legal zoom for reviewing contracts - property management, leases etc. Any suggestions to find someone good and reasonable for long term (DM me with referrals pls)?

How do you deal with all of the constant pings? I need some focus time to write emails & create campaigns but my entire team tends to be “on call” with Slack all day and it’s making me crazy. I want to bring this up to the rest of the executive team because we are overboard with the constant notifications and questions/comments that don’t really need to be in slack.

Any other single professionals getting tired of picking up the slack for coworkers with kids? Why is work-family more important then work-life balance?

Is it normal that my team mate who sits 2 seats away from me prefers to use Slack to communicate for most work related subject instead of speaking in person? I’m kinda new to the agency.

I know what all my female coworkers kids look like because they’re always in their lap or in the camera view on meetings. But I can’t say the same for my male coworkers... are men really not helping with their kids during WFH or is this just an illusion of my zoom calls?

Whats the current attire recommendation for zoom interviews? I've done a suit and tie but the interviewer was in a t-shirt. The mismatch made me rethink it. Are dress shirts enough now?

I hardly ever log on to skype for business and it feels like I’m the only staff in my office that isn’t always chatting with people throughout the day. Anyone else? Could this be seen as a bad thing?

Tried Facebook Rooms yesterday for a call. It was good until the sound cut out. Hangouts has terrible video quality. Zoom has a 40 minute limit for the fee version. Skype is so 2019. What’s your video conference platform of choice including Pros and cons?
