Need advice 😓 I spent the past couple of years in a creative strategist / copywriter hybrid role. It’s been super interesting but I’ve heard that the “hybrid creative” is kinda played out. How would you navigate searching for your next role?

I’d choose one and move forward with that title. Personally, I’d prefer a copywriter who loves strategy more than a strategist who loves to write copy.

like

Strategy should be baked into the creative process, and unless you put in the work that actual strategists do then it’s just sort of a bs title addition

Nothing is played out if you have good, relevant work to show for it. Client side positions typically blur the lines between strategy and creative more. See Snap

After about a year and a half in Big 4 public accounting (specifically tax), I have realized that I do not necessarily love traditional accounting. I have my masters in accounting and have passed the CPA. I have a few internships in finance, but it still seems people only want to hire me for accounting roles. I would like to get more into the finance side of things. Does anyone have any stories about switching to finance? What roles? Is it worth it to get my MBA? Any advice helps! Thanks.

Moving on from Hotels (Hospitality)?

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

Should I move on and go to a different industry? Opinions are welcome! Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am selected for the Content Developer role in TechM, but they are just offering me a 30% hike and I even need to shift to Pune. Is it good or are there other ways to increase the offer? HR told me that this salary is auto generated from the system and can't be increased.

Easiest exam? ACCA, CPA or CA?
