Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

One thing to consider is that Capital One strategy will likely have considerably better hours than the other two (think an extra 2-3 free hours per weekday if not more), so if socializing/dating a lot in your 20s is important, it’s worth considering. Many of us who work in professional services are too drained at the end of the week to socialize extensively, doubly so if you’re more of an introvert. My spouse is in a strong industry strategy team and has time to pursue a top EMBA on top of work. That’s a pipe dream for many in professional services. If you do take a professional services offer and plan on grad school, take your exams now since studying for it on top of work is challenging, as I learned firsthand.
Going to take e slightly different view here and suggest going with Capitol One. For one you really will focus on things that move the needle for capital one and will gain a highly relevant skill set that you could leverage for MBB if CapOne doesn’t work out. You’ll likely miss out on execution work but if strategy is what excites you go all in. Deals transformation sounds like m&a operations ie diligences and project management . Accenture while I’m sure does some strategy work it’s not the bread and butter ie the odds of you doing work that is strategic is high but not necessarily pure strategy work. CapOne is rigorous and provides you growth if you chose to stay or strong opportunities to exit with a highly relevant skill set be that for MBB/ T2 or MBA where you’re experience will be differentiated relative to other candidates.
I am indeed a massive narcissist
So you guys telling me accenture strategy is prestigous??
No idea who ‘guys’ are - but I am.
Your practice alignment at PwC makes all the difference. Accenture Strategy is a far superior value proposition to PwC consulting, unless you’re aligned to Strategy& @PwC. Capital One is industry and choosing a role in industry is not comparable to MC. Industry is generally less hours, with a slower career progression than MC, however in the Capital One corporate strategy team you’ll likely get project exposure to MBB firms and some IB firms advising the CFO and CEO on organic and inorganic growth options.
Yes you will "consult" internally, which isn't a consulting role, I.e. to someone from a consulting shop it is most definitely "industry".
The term consultant has been widely overused in recent years. Everyone is a consultant now. A talent "consultant" or sales "consultant" is much much much different than a a "traditional" consultant (MBB, T2, B4, ACN)
Definitely ACN strat. Do that for a year and jump to MBB digital

Great job on getting all those offers!
I'm in the Tech Strategy space and would definitely pick ACN Strategy
A1 - because leaders lack empathy, too much of favouritism and good people managers have left the firm.
Not pwc, cap 1 you’ll work with big 3 talent but be silohed to financial services. Accn strategy you’ll get money and “brand” but potentially tougher hours…knowing what i know now I’d take cap1. If you’re elite you can make director cap1 in two years
Yea i know someone who did that and they work predominantly with big 3 colleagues
Accenture if you’re looking to do consulting, Capital One if you want industry/WLB
Either should give you six figures out of college and good exit opps
What does capital one strategy do ?
It’s between PwC and Accenture, these 2 companies will give you the best exit opportunities. You will learn a lot there, and both are wonderful opportunities. It’s up to you whether you are into financial consulting( deals) or strategy consulting (accenture).
For me I would go for deals and probably in the future I’ll do mba and go for MBBs
PwC doesn't really have true salary negotiation at the staff levels. We're on a cohort system. You could theoretically negotiate to a higher cohort, but if you don't progress at an accelerated rate, you're annual pay increase will be virtually non existent until the next promo.
Just don’t do capital one
1. Idk how fast you can progress there. I know for a fact you can progress quickly at PwC or acn. But if you’re great, it don’t matter
2. I’ve heard the work culture isn’t the best from people I know that have worked there. Only a few individuals so may not be the case for others
3. Personally don’t like big banks especially ones who are known for predatory subprime lending on the poor

Depends on what you're looking for.
For me, personally, since I don't like deal work, it would come down to #2 and #3.
Cap One has an excellent reputation as far as banks goes and has far better WLB than either of the other two options. Plenty of people have made good careers there and it isn't at all seen as a negative on your resume, either for business school applications or future exits.
ACN strat is legit, though they tend to gravitate more towards tech focused strategy. Nothing at all wrong with that and it's a lucrative market. Like C1, ACN is not a negative on a resume.
Between those two, ACN will likely have faster comp growth and more alignment with strat-focused exits, while C1 will likely have better WLB and more alignment with financial sector exits; also potentially tech exits depending on where you're aligned within C1. Both are equally viable, both will pay well, and both will be good names on your resume, so it comes down to what you're looking for.
For that matter, P-Dubs is also a good choice if you're interested in deals work, though I believe it'll likely have the worst WLB of the three.
I will emphasize that you'll make excellent money at all three. Not top tier money, but you'll make excellent money nonetheless. All three are also great brand names and will position you well for potential exits to school or other firms, or allow you to build a successful career if you stay put.
Thanks for the input MD. I see how u earned ur title good stuff!
Capital One Strategy. They pay the most and strategy is the most-coveted space
wow, this early already? i'm assuming none of these are internships.
PwC DDV!
However most ppl from DDV look to exit to strategy roles skip the middle man
- A DDV senior manager
Pwc deals or EY-P. Long term your exit opportunities will be the best and you'll get to work on various clients and travel. Consulting out of school is recommended before going to industry.
Gotcha thanks for input. R u urself in strategy divison? If so how’s ur experience so far?
Pro
Cap1
Would say PWC or Accenture. Don’t even know what capital one strategy is.
If you don’t mind sharing - what are the base salary for each? I think Accenture strat will have fastest salary growth
All are around 90-100k TC. I’ve heard on here that all 3 also have very similar salary growths as well. Mind you this is PwC MC and not strategy&
