Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

I work in healthcare administration but was a medic for years. You learn so much about innovation but seems like most health systems just want people to fall in line and just do what's always been done. I would take a pay cut to work for a system that's actually trying to do something disruptive in the Industry as opposed to just using buzz words in ppt.

Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

Reviewing a salary offer for a Benefits Manager position in Greensboro, NC industry is retail. Offer made of $95k with 18% bonus. I have 16 YOE, degree in Business, and PHR and Shrm certification. I think I am slipping into depression. My life seems to have no meaning and all I do is work. I don't get time for myself or my family, friends and loved ones. But I can't leave my job and take a break as I need the financial support.

I also feel I am earning way less than my peers which makes me feel like a loser. 4.5 years of work-ex and 16LPA.

Been feeling very low for a very long time. Working with a Big Four for 7+ years (since graduation) and was excited to join consulting as I get easily bored, wanted to grow at an exponential scale and wanted to travel for work. Cut to now, though I am well sought after for my skills and consistently got 25%+ bonus, I feel I have achieved nothing cuz I didn't get the promotions that I worked for, people have been chosen over me for overseas travel and destroyed my social life. Venting only! :)
