Not sure about others but I feel like acct management can be a tricky side. Ever since I was an AAE up until now, I never had a manager who taught me things. I just learned on my own and went with it, made mistakes, learned. I sometimes wish I had a mentor or teacher who guided me. I’m already an account group sup but I want to do better and learn. Do you recommend getting a mentor?

Quit and find a boss who will do that for you.

The best mentor I ever had has a completely opposite account management style from me, and was never my boss.

A mentor doesn’t have to be someone who teaches you how to do the day-to-day elements of your job - think about who you inspires you to have a better work/life balance or makes you want to be a better leader, and then go talk to them and see if there’s a connection. Don’t force it.
