Any suggestions for apps/technology that are must-haves for a new, solo GC? I'm being tasked with spearheading a big M&A project (in addition to managing all other legal affairs) and will need all the help I can get to stay on track since I do not have an assistant. Any and all suggestions that relate to (calendar, planner/reminder, legal research, M&A, doc mgmt, apps, etc...) or anything else that might be considered a life-hack for a new GC are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Some will say yes. Some will say no. 🤷🏻♂️

A lot of factors go into this including; your risk profile such as your age, the presence of any higher COVID risk factors, your vaccination status, your habits such as mask wearing, social distancing etc. Also make sure you are aware of the local jurisdiction guidelines/mandates, and the state of the COVID cases in the area you plan to travel to. A lot of variables that makes this a grey area and a very personal decision that should be made on a case by case basis on the facts and circumstances of the situation.
I think this is a decision only you can make. I just got back from my second of 5 straight weekends out of town (wedding szn…), and I have weighed the risks and taken all the steps I can to ensure my own safety and the safety of those I’m with. At the end of the day, it’s up to your risk tolerance and the tolerance of those you will be in contact with.
Was just in Mexico, you’ll be fine.

You'll be fine....unless you're not.
No guarantees....OP needs to make their own judgments and risk assessments.
Things to consider to assess the risk to yourself and others:
-are you vaccinated?
-are the people you’re visiting vaccinated?
-are you visiting anyone with compromised immune systems or who would be more highly impacted if you were to infect them?
-get tested before you travel
-also consider risks to those at home in Boston when you return and get tested after you get back
-what is the infection rate and are there any hot spots in your travel destination?
-what kinds of activities will you be doing? (an indoor club with hundreds of ppl is going to be way riskier than having dinner outdoors with a couple friends)
-wear masks, practice good habits
I traveled to Texas, California, Colorado, Florida, NY, and Mexico twice. Funny thing is that I got covid from my parent who went to the hospital for elective surgery. Wasn’t bad and I know it was from him because I didn’t see my gf luckily so she was safe
If you’re low risk, just go. You can either stay at home forever or live life. Driving a car is dangerous. I rather take my chances with COVID than a car accident

I haven’t travelled since Covid started but I’m living in Germany and going to Sardinia next week. We will rent a car to avoid public transport and go to less known beaches and only go for activities outdoor with no or little crowds. Mask up whenever we see people and will also disinfect things we will use or touch in the hotel room. N95 on the plane and crowded places. We are vaccinated and very cautious throughout the year about hand hygiene and everything. I think if you are careful and follow the hygiene guidelines, you will be fine. Just don’t touch your face without disinfecting your hands and wear a mask when you are in a crowded place.

Probably not. Did you get your booster? Do you double mask?
If low risk tolerance, just put a mask on or two, get a Face-shield. Will be safer and probably make you feel more comfortable. Once in SEA, be a little bit more careful than usual and if vaccinated, you should be fine.
Go!
Live your life.
Just traveled to Seattle, felt safe. Many restaurants require vax card. Busy places require masks. Just go and enjoy yourself!
Social distance, wear a mask, wash ya hands. Science.
