^Good for you. Maybe you're out of touch with what staff are getting paid. In tier 1 cities, campus hires are starting out more than 10k less than their counterparts at Pwc. Can't speak for other cities.
Remove D from the equation because they follow the MBA +2 theory (for the most part), so their managers are paid higher. K screws everyone by not bringing ALL undergrads in as an analyst and making Associate/Consulting the easy promotion. By moving everyone to SA in years 2-4, you clutter the pool with really low WE and thus really low salaries that continue all the way up. K is definitely on the lower end of the pay band, though, regardless. I'm sure HR knows the B4 are paying and remain competitive with that. They're obviously not that far off if ppl are taking the offers (out of school or as experienced hires).
If that is true than we need to fix that or else we will be attracting bottom of barrel staff
Shitty compensation, my friends at other firms make 40% more than me for doing the exact same thing
Good compensation? Lol.
KPMG folks seem pretty friendly, likable, and competent in general. Overall, have a strong impression of them.
K's MC is everyone you said above. Other practices are dying.
^I get good compensation. Lol
I personally love KPMG
I know I got screwed, joined as an associate. I should've have jumped ship to make more. But here I am, I don't think anyone appreciates or rewards loyalty anymore. I'd say being at a single company more than 3 years, you are bound to get stiffed.
Everything*
This is like the 5x thread about this topic. Looks you answered the question accurately.
I
M2 I doubt that's just Kpmg. There's no way k pays on avg 40%. You just got screwed
40% less*
M2 what's your salary, I'll tell you if you're screwed or your friends are lying to you
@ M1: 118,000$ I know managers who make $170,000
Btw, I posted a few days ago about the salary as well..just so you know that no. Is not new
M2 : how many years are they at manager posn abd getting 170?
If you are simply comparing titles sure. My understanding is that big 4 managers are undergrad +3 yrs. At other strat houses, you don't make manager until 2 yrs post MBA (there are some exceptions like fast track promotions).
