NYC Staff 2 EY Tech Risk, what is your salary?

Hi all! Is anyone here in Underwriting? Just want some thoughts on this as i’ve recently gotten an offer for an Underwriting Associate position and have never done any salary negotiations before. Does it seem unrealistic for my counter offer to be 12k more than the original offer? Considering that the original offer is roughly 8k less than the market salary. Plus i’m also accounting for wiggle room as i’m not expecting them to actually agree with the full 12k counter offer

Interviewing for Cyber Sec role. At very beginning they ask salary exp. I said usual way to postpone that question, and to figure out their range for role. On final interview and I mentioned 85-95k and they said it’s on the lower end for role…. Did I lowball myself?

And have another offer from Amazon for Program Manager fixed- 28 lac + 1 rsu (3.5 lac every year) + 1.5 relocation bonus.

Need some thoughts on which one to join.

Iqvia - 21Fixed + 1L joining bonus
Pwc - 22Fixed + 1L joining bonus
Virtusa - 21.5 Fixed + 1L joining bonus

YOE - 5.2Yrs.

In this IQVIA is product based and I heard wlb is good. Thought of joining there but they are not going beyond 21F.
Whereas I can even negotiate with virtusa or accionlabs to increase the package further. What can I do now?

Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.

I’ve been with my company for 8+ yrs, I love my manager and the work I do (engagement, recognition, & wellness programs) but I feel like I’m limiting myself since I have the experience, an HRM degree, and SHRM-CP credentials.

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale. I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?

I am a senior accountant with a masters and CPA credential and 3 years experience. A colleague was just promoted to senior with no credentials and 10k higher salary. My boss said he can match salary in 3 months when we have our annual review cycle. I don’t think I should have to wait. Also I said I should absolutely be paid higher than peer given my credentials. How much more though??? Also should I push to have it matched now?

Thoughts on recording meetings. In Texas and have ADHD. I’ve been recording internal meetings for the past couple of weeks and my work product has improved exponentially. I’m able to go back and listen to the directions over again. In law school I had a note that gave me permission to do this. Is this taboo in a firm?
