NYU PT MBA worth it? (25% payment from my job)

Georgia Tech Cybersecurity masters or the analytics masters? Currently in a cyber role at Deloitte. I was thinking it might be better to do the analytics master and get a CISSP. I feel like there is more value in the cissp than a MS cybersecurity

Im thinking of taking up MBA soon.. or should I focus on gaining other Finance certifications and leaning new language instead?

Anyone have tips for narrowing down their school list? I want to apply to 8-10 but feel like I won’t be able to do that many applications by early January, and from what I understand it sounds like round 3 is a lost cause for most schools…

Hey everyone - applying in R2 this year to Harvard, Stanford, Booth and Kellogg.

Graduated in 2017 from a top state school, GPA 3.88 and GRE 321 (quant 162, verbal 159) w/ 5.5 writing score. Asian female at a Big 4, worked in healthcare consulting and was fast track promoted in 1 year before switching into strategy/innovation consulting. Trying to pivot to VC and eventually raise my own VC firm targeting underrepresented founders.

Ex-MBB, recently started a new MM PE role, but had also applied to HBS in case the PE route doesn’t work out. Thankfully, both the PE and HBS applications were successful. Now I need to decide whether to leave my current role after only 6-10 months to go to business school, or try to defer the MBA.

What should I do? I’m torn between wanting to do MBA at an earlier age vs ensuring good PE employability post MBA(either at current firm or other). Not sure how well 6-10 Mos pre-MBA PE exp is valued

Hello All, I’m a project manager but seeking to pivot into UX Research. I do have some experience but don’t have a portfolio yet. Can anyone advise if I should focus on going through a bootcamp or focus on getting a Masters in HCI? Or just building a portfolio with the experience I do have? There are very few entry-level roles and many places are only hiring “Sr UXR” with 3-5+ years of experience! Any tips on how to break into this field and/or stand out as a junior applicant?? Thanks!

Got a GRE score of 320 (162V 158Q). Did my masters from A&M (full scholarship, 3.8 GPA, journal publications. Have been working as a consultant for a small tech consulting firm for the past 1 year and was considering a MBA + Law or Public Policy masters dual degree program. My scores are still valid for atleast 1 year. Aiming for M7 or Oxbridge in Europe. Would using this GRE score be realistic for the school given I've just 1 YOE and my quant was lower. When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

I'm curious, how much do MBA student ambassadors make?
