Facebook Business planning and Operations associate interview coming up. Any tips on what to expect and how to prepare?
I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I know that interviewing with google is a long process but I’m worried the longer I wait the more likely I will be rejected or just never hear back. Anyone else in this situation? How long until you got an offer?
If you had the opportunity to sit down for an hour and interview one of the people in finance you admire, what would you ask them?
I’m having an interview with FDD PwC next week and was told besides the case interview, there would be 2 others on relationships and business acumen. Any insights on what particularly these two interviews entail, especially the business acumen one? It seems like the typical behavioral interviews but wanted to make sure if there’s something to be aware of or how to best prepare for them. Thanks!
Have an interview for a senior accountant position at an engineering asset protection firm. Will be speaking to the head of tax. Any tips or suggestions? What kind of questions will she ask? Thank you!
Received green light for promotion but title hasn’t officially changed yet. Should I just update my resume anyways and start applying for jobs? Don’t want to lose any time given how hot the market is.
Post interview follow-up emails -- looking for advice. I don't want to sound too generic, nor do I want to sound too intrusive. (It's for a smaller PE firm). TIA.
I have a West Monroe case interview coming up. Can anyone provide some insight on what I should expect, or any other tips? West Monroe
Evaluating 3 totally different exit ops please provide input
1. Analyst at a VC fund - comp ~110-120k TC
2. T2 consulting 150k
3. Partnerships team at Tech company 160 base + bonus
I’m super conflicted - went nuts on applying and ended up getting these 3 pan out.
Currently 4 YOE always saw myself going strategy -> either tech or VC. Kind of bummed about VC pay but think it’s the rarest opp of the 3. What’s important to me is growth, future opportunities, income, wlb in no order
I’m a senior at a state school studying finance (3.9 GPA, 730 GMAT). I have internship experience in tax, treasury sales, investment banking, and will be a full time analyst in corporate banking at a BB. I’m Asian and come from a low-income household and was thinking of applying to a few 2+2 programs. Please suggest a few that could be within reach for me. Thanks so much in advance!
Interviewing for financial market advisory role at blackrock for VP position. What total comp do they offer in the role?
I recently got asked in an interview “how do you keep on top of employment law, your award and fair work regulations?” Truth is I’m subscribed to mailing lists but that’s about it… I sometimes feel dumb because I forget what’s in the fair work act, I need to check it every time someone is going on parental leave… then I forget the min requirements again.
Does anyone else have the same problem? How do you keep on top of / remember important NES & regulations?
Has anyone interviewed at Rivian? Specifically for a senior project manager role? Interested in what potential comp breakdown looks like. Thanks!!
Have finished behavioural interview of Capital One thi week. Any idea on the success rate?
What is the interview process for a Apple, Google, Amazon for IT internal audit position?
I am in the process of interviewing for a Site Reliability Engineer position. I currently work as an SRE but the pay rand for the new role is substantially higher than what I currently make. I want to have some negotiating points under my belt for when it comes up.
Does anyone have any tips that I can use? I'm already looking at market price for my position so I will already have that data in place.
Any insight or pointers is appreciated!!

Will working at a CRM agency for a couple of years kill your career? The salary’s good, but I’d like to occasionally make something other than emails that no one reads.
Is there anything to do on New Years in either Napa, Sonoma, Carmel, or Monterey? Trying to get some ideas since I’ll be there with family on New Years!

After so many years of working and acquiring a lot of stuff, I just want to simplify my life. I don’t want a nicer car or a bigger house or more expensive signs of success - it all feels like clutter right now. Is this what happens with age?
Have any of you ladies ever hired like a life assistant or even just had a task rabbit run errands for you? Is that a thing?? I have so much shit to do, no partner, and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. (I mean silly things like taking my car in for an oil change, returning items to Nordstrom etc.) I hate having things like that nagging me in the back of my mind but I also seem to keep being too busy to get everything done (and sleep). Wondering if anyone knows of a reliable service.
