Currently a SC at IBM and mostly work on implementation projects, however my interest aligns more closely with advisory. As a counter IBM has agreed verbally to promote me to MC in 3 months with a significant salary bump but lower compared to Cognizant. HELP!?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted.
