As a funny..I've been single for so long...but when I saw the insurance cost increase for simply having a spouse I was defin more okay with that. It is crazy..employee contribution doubles when you are married....but I can have 1-10 kids and experience no change in cost...that's odd.
Some plans have a flat rate increase no matter how many kids you add, but some charge per head. Some employers contribute to family while some only contribute to the employee. They vary widely!
If you have an employer that contributes to your spouse as well, you're lucky!
