Primary caregiver means is that you will take care of your child for 20 hours a week between M-F from 9 to 5. This is only when you are taking parental leave
It does not impact utilization
Family is much more important than utilization
My current util is over 110%
Trying for mgr this coming year
That is going to expire this year... ?
PwC is 6 weeks
Agreed. I took the 8 as a father. Take the time. You'll never get it back. (I actually am the primary)
Is it believable that you are the primary caregiver assuming you are commercial and travel M-TH?
This is easy to justify. Take 8 weeks. Adjusted utilization will be 110%.
I'm a seahorse. I want my leave yoo
Do you happen to know what maternity leave is at D? I've read such conflicting stuff. Don't need it just comparing to other firms to see where we are. USI I read had like 6 months that they just did recently. I get why but curious on US with ACN having 4 months
@d6. It's 3 or 8 weeks depending on whether you are primary care giver
Are you sure it impacts utilization? It didn't for me during my maternity leaves. Only part of leave that was taken into account for utilization was any PTO time I tacked on.
OP - Deloitte is 6 weeks short term disability (8 weeks of you have c section) and technically first week of std is PTO. Then parental leave is 8 weeks. All 100% paid. Then you can add any PTO on top of that. Go to working mothers magazine and it has maternity leave info for all the top firms. Find the "best firms section".
